new layout

been working on photoshop a lot more, got the blog a little more refined.

hope everyone likes it, i know i do!

also been working on the shop site, getting all the icons done and putting up new pictures.

it feels good to work again, missed it lots. and zoey gets to hang out while i do everything, so its a win win!

crazy life

Zoey has started crawling forward, and fast! I cant seem to ever get enough time to update this thing so sorry to anyone who checks in on me, i promise we are still alive!

we went to the beach! she loves the sand,

i think she likes the way it tastes, all she wanted to do was eat it!

daddy loves her so much!

Since she has started crawling, she hasnt been sleeping well. Coupled with the heat wave we had, we were pretty miserable for the last few days.

Hopefully tonight will be a good sleep night, 20 minute intervals are not pleasant.

Oh yeah, we got a dining room table and hopefully will have a high chair for her soon. if anyone has a good wood high chair they want to donate to us, let me know, we would really appreciate it!

This house is slowly coming back together after the disaster of building the shop. Its weird when 3/4 of the stuff in your house leaves, its been 8 months and i am still spinning.

my sister just got a sewing machine, so i am teaching her how to use it, thats really fun! and now we are getting ready for our month long road trip we have been planning for a while. heading to ohio then down to georgia and through texas on the way back.

ok, i'm determined!

i am going to start sewing again whether it kills me or not!

zoey has been sleeping better by herself for naps so i can start getting more done during naps.

i am working on a stuffed elephant for her right now and i am about to start stitching it together, i want to have it finished by friday. i WILL have it done by friday.

i need to learn better efficiency for doing projects, i'm just too scatterbrained to work well.

anyone have any tips?

a whole month!?!??! really?!?!?!?

 holy crap, life is whizzing by and all i can do is hold on!

its been a whole month! since i updated. i dont know how that happened at all.

Zoey is doing great, she is working on getting an army crawl going, not getting far but she spins in circles really well now.

she has two more teeth that have moved down toward her gums. no teeth have popped through yet but she has 6 teeth close to the surface now and boy are they causing a bit of hell.

her sleep is all sorts of messed up, she had an awful time last night. she is taking a nice long nap now though so thats good.

she is sitting up with just a small amount of support now and has much better balance than last month.

she has started to giggle when she laughs now and that is so awesome! she loves to go upside down and just laughs and laughs and laughs when i do it to her.

she also loves the abc's and her bug book.

i have started working on getting our front yard ready for planting, and my wonderful father got the sprinkler system functioning properly again.

hopefully the grass will turn green again.

Zoey is 3 months now, this is what has been going on the last 3 weeks.

she can now grab things with one hand pretty well, but since she started rolling over she has not wanted to grab things anymore. i guess that happens, she is working so hard on perfecting rolling over that she doesnt want to do anything else! she got her daddy's focus i guess!

she rolls front to back and back to front now, she has been doing back to belly for about a month almost now but she just started rolling belly to back this week.

i bought her a big foam alphabet mat to roll around on and she loves it!

she has a little friend named elaine (lainey) who is 10 weeks old, they hung out yesterday, Zoey was mesmerized by her, it was so cute!

i'm getting the hang of being a mommy and i have started getting on a schedule which i have never done. Zoey really prefers a schedule and she is doing well with the structure.

we wake up at 9am, she has her first nap at 10am, i get some house work done, she gets up at 11am, we hang out with daddy, bring him to work at 12 or 12:30, she usually falls asleep in the car and sleeps until 1 or so. we hang out until about 4 then we both take a nap, get up around 5 sometimes she sleeps until 6, her bed time is 8 and i go to sleep around midnight.

she is still teething hard core, no teeth through yet, but the top ones are getting really close. i am using homeopathic remedies and cold teethers and she is doing alright with that, but sometimes they seem to really bug her, poor thing.

we got pictures done for grandma with her cousin natie, i am waiting to get the email with all of them, i'll post some when i get them.

hope everyone is doing well, off to make some lunch before zoey wakes up!

Bought a CAR!!!!

here are some pictures, zoey is doing great she is almost 14lbs now, i cant believe it! i will have to order more diapers for her soon, she is growing so fast i cant keep up!!!
