maybe i can get some cleaning done today?

alas, the house has won in my struggle with it to keep it clean. it looks like a tornado launched through here right after an earth quake hit.

we switched the bedrooms last week, so i never fully recovered from that. 

this is what i want to get done today, lets see what happens!

dishes- unload and reload dishwasher (sounds easy, but trying to put glasses on a 5'10" shelf when you are 5' and 7 months pregnant is no easy feat)

clean counters

mop kitchen floor

put away everything on flat surfaces (desks, tables, etc...)

put away clean laundry

shine up bathroom 

mop bathroom floor

ok, wish me luck. i have until 11 tonight, we have a guest from out of town coming.

oh, and my midwife gave me one of those kick count cards, it has spots for how long it takes to get 10 movements from the baby, but they dont have a 3 second option, the first one is 10 minutes! i couldnt imagine only one movement a minute, this kid is on crack!

ok, i'm ready

i am finally ready to update again, i am 29 weeks pregnant now and things get a little stressful for me sometimes.

i am now nesting full on, so diaper covers are being made, diaper fabric is in the wash and patterns are all over every flat surface i have.

had a midwife appointment yesterday, went really well. bp is good, everything is normal, have no idea how much i weigh as i dont have a scale and she comes to me now. oh and i got my first stretch mark, its on my hip and its small, but its scary none the less.

baby is good, lodging its little butt up in my ribs all the time and pushing its little hard head into my bladder constantly. oh and the little hands in my hip bones, SO FUN!

but i really do feel good, i love being pregnant and knowing i am growing a little human. its a cool and bizarre feeling.

the shop is coming along, slow and steady. the floor is almost ready to go in, should be started within the next day or two. the tile should be starting this week and the finishing plumbing should be this weekend or so.

then it will be tattooable. maybe not finished all the way, but definitely tattooable.

but i am not getting my heart set on the deadlines too much, i know it could take longer.

sorry i havent been updating, i got blindsided last week with hearing that a good friend got hit by a car while riding his bike home. spent 2 days sitting on the ICU floor, he passed away on saturday.

having a hard time processing the loss, being pregnant and losing a friend is not a good combo.

so, yeah... theres an update for you, still working on the shop, its getting close.

sorry to everyone if i havent been getting back to you on emails, its really hard to keep explaining whats going on right now.

I should totally be cleaning right now. boo.

I took a 3 hour nap, remind me next time that 3 hours is too long.

Now I have no energy and the house isnt finished being cleaned. crap. 

I did get free parking this morning at the shop because i gave the lady one of my awesome home made cupcakes though, so thats a perk!

so i have totally been slacking on the invites, hopefully i can get them all finished today.

baby is going through some kind of crazy growth spurt, i have no energy what so ever.

oh, speaking of baby, i got NO sleep last night, little thing was just a dancin away in there, tickling the crap out of my hip bones.

oh well, its cute!

i couldnt even find his (or hers) heartbeat last night, all i could get was the sound of little kicks wherever i put the fetoscope! haha, just like papa, all full of energy at every inappropriate time!

baby also started responding to our voices, when i talk he gets all wiggly.

i'm going to go eat some cantaloupe now, yum!

UGGG... you gotta be kidding me!

So i've been making these invitations, first there was going to be like 20, no problem right?

i mean, they are pretty labor intensive, i have to cut them, sew them, iron on the invite, pin them, make rsvp card, package and send them.

but 20 i could do. 

the count is now up to 50, and still rolling.

yeah, fun.

maybe some day i'll be able to leave my sewing room!

Finally!

i've been busy working on the baby shower invites, i know my mom was supposed to do them but i couldn't pass up the chance to make super awesome invitations.

its been really fun, and really time consuming. 

here is a picture of me now, at 22 weeks and some, sorry for the shitty photography, i was really tired.

Craig has been working non stop on demolishing the shop, i'll give you some pictures of that too.

here is the second day of demo, really messy.

i dont know how the boys could do anything in there with it like that.

and this is today, they got everything out except for some of the wood.

ok, i have to go to bed, i will post some pics of the invites and stuff later. hopefully i can keep up with this thing a little better now.
